What “Burn Addresses” means on Arc
Value sent to these addresses can never be moved again. They are not a protocol mechanism on Arc — the chain has no issuance and burns base fees through EIP-1559 rather than through an address — but transfers to them are a common way to destroy a token supply.

An address is a 20-byte identifier that can hold a balance and, when it carries code, execute it. Gas on Arc is paid in USDC, so the balance shown for an address is denominated in dollars rather than in a volatile asset.
